About us

Our journey began eight years ago
– at the airport, in a spinning class.

Who would have thought that a sweaty workout could turn into something so much more? Between the "Woohoo!" shouts and bike seats that felt more like torture devices, we quickly realized we shared not only the same sense of humor but so much else in common. And that was just the beginning.

What followed was a real adventure – in every sense of the word! From New Zealand to Chile, Norway to Namibia, we explored the world together. Whether hiking to mountain summits or relaxing on tropical beaches, our journey became one of personal growth as much as discovery. Traveling together and experiencing new cultures brought us even closer. When the time was right, we moved in together – and it felt surprisingly natural, as if it had always been that way.

Michael brought me not only to the far ends of the earth but also back to the ski slopes. Daniel, on the other hand, got me on a moped and inspired my love for Spain.

Then came the pandemic, bringing challenges but also opportunities. We spent endless hours at home cooking together (turning simple pasta into full-blown cookbook creations), sinking into the couch, and getting to know each other even more deeply.

During this time, we realized something was missing... and we found it in Royal Quest Forever Young, aka Franzi (or Franek, Muitschki, and Mantschki).

As if that weren’t enough, we also found a second home in Burgenland. Why? To create a little hideaway where we could enjoy nature, tranquility – and yes, a bit of wine. It’s where we unwind, reflect… or not, depending on how much Franzi keeps us on our toes.

What the future holds, we don’t know. But one thing is certain: it will be as crazy and adventurous as the past eight years – full of love, laughter, and undoubtedly many more travels.

Q&As

I have food intolerances. What will be served?

We have put together a varied menu. For the main course, there will definitely be a meatless option. If you need a vegan menu or have food intolerances, please contact us so we can accommodate accordingly.

How do I get to the venue and back?

You’ll find directions on our website. Please note that parking spaces are limited.

Where can I stay overnight?

Many hotels in Vienna are easily accessible from the venue. If you have more specific questions, please reach out to Daniel or Michael.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

We’re hoping for beautiful weather and are planning the ceremony outdoors. However, there is an on-site indoor option in case of bad weather.

Are children invited as well?

We want to enjoy our wedding with just you and have therefore decided to only invite the children of our families.

What time does the wedding begin?

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. We kindly ask all guests to arrive between 4:00 PM and 4:15 PM so we can start on time.

How and by when should I RSVP?

We would appreciate it if you could let us know your response as soon as possible, but no later than March 21, 2025. You can submit your RSVP through the response form on our website.

What if I have to cancel after the RSVP deadline?

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel after the RSVP deadline, please inform us as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence on our special day is gift enough for us. However, if you still wish to give something, there will be a "gift box" available.

Is there a dress code?

We would love for you to dress up for our special day. For women, we suggest elegant dresses or festive evening attire. For men, dark suits or a tuxedo are preferred.

Will the celebration end at a specific time?

The official celebration will conclude with the opening of the disco. After that, guests are welcome to stay and continue celebrating as long as the venue allows.

Can I make music requests for the DJ?

Of course! Feel free to share your request with us in advance.

Is there a colour scheme or theme?

The wedding will follow the theme of "Summer Soirée." You can find inspiration for colours and outfits on our mood board on the website.

I have a question that hasn't been answered.
